TIME…  When can I find time to blog, is what I have been asking myself the past month.  This is a crazy busy time of year for weddings, senior photos and training for a marathon.  YES, you heard me correct I am training for a marathon.  Call me crazy I know, but it is just one of those things I have to just check off the list.  I hear it is addicting, but I just don’t think I am there yet!

Matt and Lyndee had beautiful wedding day and despite the reports of the down pouring of rain, it turned out to not be so bad.  It definitely was chilly out but the rain showers seemed to stay away for the most part.  Thankfully!  We where so excited to work with the FABULOUS and AMAZING Teresa at Enchanted Florist, they do amazing work.  I just had to add lots of detail shots to this post, I love their work.  And we love shooting weddings at the Springs Preserve, Michelle is so great to work with.  We will be there quite a few times this year.  Here are a few of the faves from their day…

WOW, how FUN was this session.  I knew when I first met Holly and Jose for a consultation I wanted to be apart of their wedding day.  They are so fun to be around and just a GREAT couple.  Holly is so beautiful, and she looked amazing for the shoot.  Jose didn’t look to bad either… hahaha  Holly was so nervous about being photographed but I think after this little sneak peek she will see just how great she is in front of the camera.  Here are a few of our faves…. Well I have been working like mad lately.  Christmas time is an extremely busy time for me, but I am feeling a little bit better about things this week.  I just got a bunch of my clients Holiday Cards in the mail and they are sooo DARLING!  I will have to post them on the blog this year once the Holiday’s are over.  Hopefully I can even get our families card done this year!  But don’t hold me to it.

Stephanie and Ricky are an AMAZING couple and as you can see from their engagement session, I am so excited to shoot their wedding next year.  Again I must say we have the BEST couples ever!!  Stephanie has a GREAT sense of style and I was so excited when she pulled out this BEAUTIFUL dress to shoot in.  We had so much fun with them and we are soooo excited for the Wedding Day.  Here are a few of many faves…

OK, so I have to start by telling you what I did last weekend…  I went with some friends to see the 12:01am showing of New Moon.  The movie for me was just OK… I prefer the socializing part most of all.  So the movie got over around 2:30am and I was in bed by about 3am but not able to sleep from the enormous MONSTER drink I downed right before midnight.  So the next morning it was business as usual a family of 7 to get ready for school and work.  Feeling just a little sleep deprived I talk my self into signing up for a HALF MARATHON… Yes that is what I said a HALF MARATHON, for those of you that know me know that I HATE running.  I am very faithful at the gym, but when it comes to running I would rather die then have to run any kind of Marathon.  So for the past few days my friend and I have been up early training for this Half Marathon, that did I mention is in 8 WEEKS!!  CRAZY!  But despite the shear terror every morning , we are pushing through.  Wish us luck, we will need it.  So any tips would be greatly appreciated.

On to a much more exciting news.  We were able to do a fun engagement sessions for one of our couples that will be getting married in Feb.  Lyndee and Matt are planning a very NON_VEGAS wedding so for their engagement session they wanted to do the Vegas Strip.  There is so much character downtown Las Vegas and I love shooting there.  Here are a few favorites from their session…

As I sit here and type I look really funny, I wish I had a camera.  I have injured my neck yet again… for those of you that know me I have serious neck issues about twice a year.  Although this year it has been about every 2 months.  If I was smart, which apparently I am not I would listen to my chiropractor and stay FAR AWAY from spin class at the gym.  I really hope he doesn’t read my blog or I am in a lot of trouble.  But I am not to smart I guess and I won’t stay away.  I guess it is back to HOT yoga for me!!  Someday I will learn.

On to some photos…  Josh and Megan our great friends of ours.  I photograph their kids about 3 times a year and I love every session we do.  This one was no exception…
