What happens in Vegas… l Las Vegas Wedding Photographer

When Gina called and said they would be flying into town from Atlanta and getting married at the top of the Stratosphere and she wanted us to tag along and photograph their experience before and after, we were so excited.  I could tell just by talking to her on the phone that it would be a blast!!

Well when we arrived at the Mirage at 5pm to start taking photos we were met by Grant (groom), first of all he informed us that when we got to their suite we would be in for a surprise.  So as we rode the elevator up to the top I didn’t know what to expect…  When he opened the door their it was, a suit with the security tag still on.  And it was right in the middle of the back of the jacket.  He was pretty panicked and didn’t know what to do.  He called security and they were on their way with tools.  He purchased the suit before they left Atlanta but didn’t try it back on till he got to Vegas.  So this whole time I am thinking worst case scenario, and was relieved to know that it was something that could easily be fixed.  That is with the help of two security guards, tons of different tools and about 30 minutes later.  Needless to say they made it to the Chapel in time!  Here is one of many shots of the incident.

Funny huh!

Now for some fun shots of the day.  Gina and Grant and their best man and maid of honor were a BLAST.  So photogenic and just fun to be around.  I wish they lived here so we could shoot them more often, we really enjoyed getting to know them.

We rode in the limo with them all night and had so much fun.  We had a great limo driver named Randy that made it so nice getting to all the Vegas locations.

This is right after they were married.  The Stratosphere doesn’t allow outside photographers up to photograph the ceremony so we waited down at the bottom for them.  Congrats again guys, you are both amazing!!

They really wanted the Vegas experience so we shot photos all the way up and down the strip.  It made for a long day, but it was worth it!

Derek and Wendy’s Wedding l Las Vegas Wedding Photographer

I really wish I was a writer!!  I read some blogs out there and they are just amazing, and they have such great stories.  Is my life really that boring???  I have to tell myself it is exciting, right?  Well here is yet another attempt to write something fabulous.  (OK, maybe I will just stick to lots of photos)

Derek and Wendy’s Wedding day… were do I start.  When we first met this amazing couple in the spring for their engagement session, we knew that we were in for a lot of fun on the Wedding Day.  And I can honestly say that their family, friends and bridal party did not let us down.  It was a PARTY from start to finish.  We were happy to be able to capture their Wedding Day memories through photography.

Before I get to some of the photos from the day, I have some BIG BIG news…. PIXLEBOOTH is up and running.  For those of you that missed the announcement back in June, I have teamed up with one of my amazing brides to start a new photobooth company.  You can check out some of our samples at www.pixlebooth.com.  We are so excited, photobooths are so much fun. We are running some specials right now so if you are interested email me soon.   Here is our company logo:
